The CSG Relationship Manager is a seasoned professional role. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

Calls on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations;

Serves as clients' contact point and is responsible for managing internal departments to address any customer service issues;

Introduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio;

Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ individual needs;

Works closely with Case Manager on the on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met;

Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;

Drives innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further developing our business where necessary and appropriate

Supports the Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward;

Maximizes client experience by proactive sharing markets updates, trend and intelligence;

Networks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities

Prepares /oversees new transaction submissions & annual reviews for the submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience

Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients

Demonstrates core credit skills

Demonstrates an intermediate level of Early Warning Detection skills

Demonstrates ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process, gather and maintain credit documentation and monitor accounts

Demonstrates advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling and statement analysis

Ability to work effectively in team setting

Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

A self-starter, with positive/can-do approach, embraces changes and is bold;

High level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation

Job Purpose:

The SCO Payments and Account Monitoring Lead is a senior level manager role accountable for all SCO Operations Payments and Account Monitoring functions. Reporting to the RegionalSCO Operations Head, this position is responsible for ensuring all Account Monitoring and Payment Execution functions are consistent across all SCO Citi Service Center (CSC) locations.

NOTE: This role is available to be based in all existing SCO CSC locations (Dalian, Tampa, Budapest, Costa Rica and Chennai)

This position is responsible for two functions within the SCO P2P Operations.  First, Payments refers to the management, leadership, and oversight of the P2P Operations sub-function of the execution of payments and payment files, both in local and foreign currency, largely focused on countries whereby payments are not fully automated.  Account Monitoring is the sub-function that manages, actions, identifies root cause, and reports on exceptions relating to bank accounts that SCO Operations owns under the “Account Owner” responsibility.  

Specifically, this role:

Assure performance and drive global standardization and automation of processes and improvement programs, in partnership with SCO Regional Operations Heads.  

Owns the end-to-end process standards across all regions and countries, being fully responsible for its implementation, as well as the effective adherence to global standards

Oversees SCO Ops daily operations, monitoring Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) daily/as published, tracking breaches to defined thresholds, and escalating issues to senior management as necessary

Defines and executesthe global process strategic agenda, including:  (i)Designing a global strategy roadmap to advance operational standardization (e.g., process, procedures, tools, metrics) (ii) Defining and documenting a digitization/tools enhancement global roadmap, and partnering with System Ops on the design and implementation of solutions, including coordination of UAT testing as required (iii) Driving global operations efficiency and productivity, identifying and sponsoring continuous improvement opportunities (iv) Maintaining a global inventory of documented processes, procedures, exceptions, language and regulatory requirements (v)Supporting Region SCO Leads and RegionSCO Ops Heads with subject matter expertise to solve regional/local escalations, addressing root causes and tracking issues to closure (vi)Training SCO Ops staff to better assimilate and adhere to global standards

Co-designs global Capacity Planns with Region SCO Ops Heads and actively participates in monthly reviews to continuously identify opportunities to improve operations’ productivity efficiency and effectiveness

Builds and maintains relationships with Global Process Owners, Region SCO Leads, and Region SCO Ops Heads in an effort to constantly refine, improve and share working best practices globally

Supports and actively engages in SCO’s Global VOE initiatives

Qualifications:

Operations and people management experience, preferably across multiple regions

Qualified Accountant (CPA) with strong accounting experience (>10 years)- preferred

Strong knowledge of end-to-end P2P Purchase Order to Payment processes including accounting entries & flow

Knowledge of Citi Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliation process

Understanding of Tax accounting/regulation including local Country requirements

Knowledgeable in Payment systems (e.g.Citidirect) and General Ledger systems (e.g.Flexcube, DBS etc.)

Able to provide external perspective of risk issues based on accounting process and controls and proactive enhancement recommendations

Demonstrated professional ethics and integrity in carrying out responsibilities to clients, peers, and franchise

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Description

TTS Trade business provides a wide range of solutions across key product pillars including Trade Documentary Services (eg. The key objective of this role includes building a robust trade portfolio with a special focus on commercial banking target market, i.e. medium-sized and emerging corporates in China. The candidate will be required to run with strategic initiatives to expand trade penetration among existing and new commercial banking clients.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve targeted Trade wins and revenue growth for China Trade business and across Commercial Banking priority names.

Lead client engagement and focused calling efforts to identify opportunities and develop customized solutions covering trade services, trade finance, supply chain finance, receivables finance solutions.

Partner with Commercial Banking teams to develop sales strategy, originate trade opportunities, build pipeline, drive deal structuring and transaction execution.
