Cargo operation agent

(Guangzhou)


Job Description

-Realizes processes for acceptance, flight preparation and delivery of any cargo and mail carried.

-Takes delivery of any cargo, brought for being shipped, by performing the necessary checks for them and the documents of the same.

-Ensures that all cargo and mail are brought to the ramp by performing the preparations for such cargo and mail.

-Carries out the processes for delivery of inbound cargo.

-Accompanies loading and unloading of cargo free from any damage and in full.

-Performs the first response in order for resolution of any irregularities occurred at cargo shipments.

-Coordinates with official authorities and handling agencies, follows rules and regulations.


Desired Skills & Experience

-Minimum High School graduation. (Associate or Bachelors degree is preferred).

-Permanent residence permit in the respective country

(The Company will not provide or assist with work permits).

-Minimum 1 year of experience in cargo or logistics.

-Good command of English and local language(s).

-Work in flexible hours.

-Being a team player along with having the capability to work independently when necessary and being able to work under pressure.

-Sense of responsibility.

-Ability to make decisions accurately and effectively.

-Proactive problem solving.

Job Title

Cargo Sales Representative

(Shanghai)


Job Description

-Promote/sell/secure business from existing and prospective customers through consultative and solutions relationship-based approach.

-Manage and ensure the smooth handling of all day-to-day cargo booking activities for the Shanghai station.

-Coordinate sales efforts and requirements with reservation, accounting and operation teams.

-Liaise with Turkish Cargo Headquarter team for tracing and provide necessarily follow up with customers.

-Respond to customers’ questions, problems, requests and/or complaints.

-Represent and promote Turkish Cargo within cargo industry community.

-Report to Shanghai Regional Cargo Manager.


Desired Skills & Experience

-Degree holder in Logistics or Business-related disciplines.

-At least 3 years working experience in Airlines or Logistics related industry, knowledge in sales and marketing, operations and business development will be an advantage.

-Strong understanding of the cargo business with commercial sales experience.

-Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

-Result oriented and possessing strong negotiating skills.

-Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

-Must be receptive to flexible work hours, holiday/weekend coverage and travel expectations.

-Proficiency with PC Window applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.

Job Title

Cargo operation agent

(Shanghai)


Job Description

-Coordinate daily airline operations (ramp and warehouse) with Turkish Cargo Operation Team, handling agents and other related parties to ensure service standards are achieved and maintained.

-Report and follow job allocations of all aspects of Cargo operations at Shanghai station to Cargo Operation Manager/Assist. Cargo Operation Manager including crew handling, flight operations, loading and unloading operations/coordination, cargo irregularities, cargo tracking, pallet buildup coordination.

-Investigate, report and implement corrective action for any incident of cargo, ramp/warehouse and aircraft irregularities.

-Liaise with Turkish Cargo related departments for tracing and provide necessarily follow up with customers.

-Other work requested and directed by Regional Manager or Senior Cargo Management.

-Report to Cargo Operation Manager.


Desired Skills & Experience

-Degree holder in Logistics or Business-related disciplines.

-At least 1 years working experience in Airlines or Logistics related industry, knowledge in airlines operations, forwarding, warehousing and business development will be an advantage.

-Strong understanding of the cargo business with operation management experience.

-Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

-Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

-Must be receptive to night-shift, flexible work hours, and holiday/weekend coverage.

-Proficiency with PC Window applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
