Serve as a principal point of contact for maintaining the group’s Global Risk and Controls framework. Manage the group’s technology book of work - liaising with key delivery partners and ensuring effective prioritization and central coordination of UAT efforts Represent the group on all regulatory forums and take primary responsibility for actions and takeaways. Stay abreast of developments within the firm’s various innovation groups and champion the analysis and viability of implementation within own group Manage the generation of various MIS decks which the team is responsible for producing Establishing and overseeing risk policies and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks. Serve as the key regional contact to the group’s global Risk & Controls lead.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to partner with other teams to provide innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS, with relevant experience of working in Financial Services. Strong Excel skills are a plus - must be comfortable handling and analyzing large amounts of data. Must be creative and open-minded as the Middle Office is looking to find the best possible solution for our clients. Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, multi-task under tight deadlines, be team-oriented, and very self-motivated. Flexible with working hours as the position will occasionally require late nights and weekend work. Prior experience working with Fixed Income products plus familiarity with the current regulatory environment would be a definite advantage.
